Appeal letter from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods

QTO - In recent days, people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces have been severely affected by exceptionally heavy rain and floods, causing serious damage to people and property. Quang Tri province is also a locality heavily affected by natural disasters in 2025. With the responsibility and mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering the strength of great national unity, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched the campaign "Quang Tri's affection towards the people of the Central and Central Highlands" to mobilize resources to support affected households to quickly overcome the consequences of rain and floods.

In recent days, people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces have been severely affected by exceptionally heavy rain and floods, causing serious damage to people and property. Quang Tri province is also a locality heavily affected by natural disasters in 2025.

Timely support for people to cope with and quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters; with the attention, support and encouragement of the Party and State leaders, central ministries, businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the province; Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front at all levels in the province are actively implementing relief work and supporting people in areas affected by natural disasters; along with the efforts of the people, up to now, basically households in the province have been cared for to stabilize their lives and gradually restore production.

The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sent their condolences and sympathies to the families severely affected by the natural disasters in 2025 in the province; respectfully expressed gratitude and acknowledged the efforts of the armed forces, rescue teams of the province and volunteer teams, along with many ordinary people who did not fear danger and hardship to wholeheartedly protect the lives and property of the people.

However, the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces are currently struggling to cope with the consequences of the exceptionally large historic floods. The people are in dire need of the attention of the Party, the State and the kindness of every citizen in the country to have more encouragement and soon overcome the great loss of life, homes and many other properties.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; With the tradition of solidarity, humanity and the act of "Love others as you love yourself" in times of difficulty and adversity; With the heart of "Quang Tri's affection, the less torn leaves cover the more torn leaves"; With the responsibility and mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering the strength of great national unity, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched the campaign "Quang Tri's affection towards the people of the Central and Central Highlands" to mobilize resources to support affected households to quickly overcome the consequences of floods.
