The 2025 job fair in Thanh An commune ( Dien Bien ) is not only a place for workers to find stable opportunities but also an address for businesses to access quality human resources.
The ripple effect from the job "trading floor"
At the 2025 Job Fair recently held in Thanh An Commune (Dien Bien), the atmosphere of looking for job opportunities was very exciting. The fair, co-organized by the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs), attracted hundreds of union members, youth and workers.
"Through the job fair, I learned about many companies and job vacancies without having to go far to find out. I can orient my future right now," Luong Thi Thanh Thuy, a student in class 11B5, Hoang Cong Chat High School, excitedly shared.
With the participation of 15 vocational training units, production facilities, and enterprises inside and outside the province, the event brought a diverse "menu" of jobs: from agriculture , agricultural processing, construction materials, information technology to labor export orders. In just half a day, the Organizing Committee approached, consulted, and introduced jobs to nearly 300 workers, students, and pupils in the area.
Company representative, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Nam said: "Our company is in need of recruiting positions such as operation management staff, skilled electricians and mechanics. We are looking forward to finding enthusiastic, young and healthy candidates in the area to join us in the near future."
This event is not only a place for workers to find stable opportunities but also an address for businesses to access quality human resources, contributing significantly to the goal of job creation, stabilizing life, and promoting socio -economic development in the locality.

Pa Ham Commune People's Committee (Dien Bien) organized a mobile job conference for workers of 15 villages.
"Mobile" Connection - Leaving No One Behind
Job connection activities are also flexibly deployed to ethnic minority and mountainous areas, demonstrating the humanity and coverage of the policy.
In Pa Ham commune (Dien Bien), the People's Committee organized a mobile job conference for workers in 15 villages.
The event conveyed many practical contents, such as: Updating information on policies and laws in the field of employment and vocational training; providing detailed information on the labor market, regimes, policies, and income in domestic and foreign markets; consulting, preliminary selection and guidance on completing application documents for domestic work and labor export...
Similarly, in Tuan Giao commune (Dien Bien), the Job Fair has just taken place with a total recruitment and enrollment demand of up to nearly 10,000 positions. The positions span many fields such as industrial production, electronic component assembly, construction, information technology and especially hundreds of labor export opportunities in potential markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Korea with stable and attractive income.

Job connection is becoming the "golden key" opening up clear changes for Dien Bien.
Human resource advantages and poverty reduction commitment
Dien Bien possesses a significant population advantage with more than 650,000 people, of which the labor force accounts for 56%. Realizing that this is a decisive resource for growth, the province is focusing on investing in the vocational training system. Each year, institutions such as Dien Bien College, Medical College, Pedagogical College... enroll about 10,000 students, providing a skilled workforce for production, service sectors and the overseas labor market. Thanks to that, from 2020 to now, Dien Bien has sent 948 workers to work abroad, opening up high-income opportunities and improving the economic life of many families.
Playing the role of a "bridge" in the labor market is the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs). According to Mr. Pham Van Thuan, Deputy Director of the Center, the unit is promoting cooperation with businesses inside and outside the province to provide transparent recruitment information on legality, salary levels, and benefits.
"Workers are consulted completely free of charge, based on their qualifications and needs to find suitable jobs. We also support labor export consulting, instruct on interview skills and complete documents to receive benefits or free vocational training for unemployed people," said Mr. Thuan.
These concerted efforts are making an important contribution to Dien Bien’s goal of sustainable poverty reduction. In the 2020–2025 period, the multidimensional poverty rate is expected to decrease to 17.66% by the end of 2025, equivalent to a reduction of nearly 4% per year. The province also sets a more ambitious target for the next period of bringing the poverty rate down to below 5% by 2030.
Dien Bien's employment development strategy is on the right track towards national poverty reduction. According to Mr. Nguyen Le Binh, Deputy Head of the National Office for Poverty Reduction, employment not only creates income but is also linked to the right to a livelihood and opportunities for social integration. "Adding the employment dimension to the poverty line means prioritizing the improvement of people's self-improvement capacity, instead of relying solely on support," he emphasized.
Thanks to its focus, job connection has become the "golden key" to open up clear changes for Dien Bien, creating momentum for sustainable socio-economic development. It is not only a result of growth, but also a mark of a journey imbued with humanity, where each job opportunity given carries hope for a brighter future for the people.
