According to talkSPORT , the fee of 25 million pounds as requested by MU is not a problem for Chelsea. However, the English player must accept a pay cut for the deal to take place. Currently, Sancho receives 300,000 pounds per week at MU. Last season, Chelsea and MU split the payment to pay this income.

If an agreement cannot be reached, Chelsea are willing to pay a £5 million penalty to return Sancho to MU.

Daily Mail said Sancho does not want to return to Old Trafford. The midfielder hopes to soon reach an agreement to stay at Chelsea to continue developing his career.

On May 29, Sancho contributed 1 goal in Chelsea's 4-1 victory over Real Betis, thereby winning the 2024/25 Conference League championship. This midfielder and his teammates have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League next season when Chelsea finishes the season in the top 5 of the Premier League.

Last season, Sancho made 41 appearances for Chelsea, including 19 starts in the Premier League. He scored 4 goals and had 10 assists.

Sancho's performance was praised by former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole. "I think Jadon is a fantastic player and he did really well," Cole analyzed. "I want to see Jadon play more. You need players like that in the squad."

Asked if Sancho was worth a long-term deal at Chelsea, Cole replied: “Yes. This is a guy who made a name for himself at Dortmund. It didn’t work out at United but now Jadon is back in form at Chelsea."

MU stars' emotions after losing to Southeast Asian team On the evening of May 28, MU players could not smile when they lost 0-1 to the lower-rated ASEAN All Stars at Bukit Jalil Stadium.
