Regarding the particularly serious traffic accident between a garbage truck and two motorbikes that occurred on National Highway N2, section Km 86+200, Kinh Giua Hamlet, Nhon Ninh Commune, Tan Thanh District, Long An Province at 7:00 a.m. on April 26, which CAND Newspaper reported, in the evening of the same day, a representative of the Traffic Police Department, Long An Provincial Police said that the fourth victim, Pham Hoai Tinh (born 2009, from Vinh Long) was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital ( Ho Chi Minh City) and also did not survive.

This is the fourth victim to die in the particularly serious traffic accident. Previously, the three deceased victims were identified as Phan Hoai Tanh (born in 2005, from Vinh Long ), Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung (born in 1979, residing in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City) and Nguyen Vo Quoc Tuyen (born in 2002, residing in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City). All four were on their way home for the April 30 holiday.

In response to this particularly serious traffic accident, the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security sent a working group to the scene to coordinate with the Traffic Police Department, Long An Provincial Police and related units to investigate and clarify the cause. The driver of the garbage truck, Tran Van Hau (born in 1980, from Long An) was taken for alcohol and drug testing.

According to initial information, at the above time, driver Hau was driving a garbage truck on National Highway N2, from Dong Thap to Long An, when reaching the above location, he collided with two motorbikes driven by Mr. Tanh carrying Mrs. Dung, and Mr. Tuyen carrying Tinh traveling in the opposite direction. The collision caused Mr. Tanh and Mrs. Dung to die on the spot, Tuyen died at Tan Thanh District Hospital, Tinh was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital but also did not survive.
