Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation visits special national relic site in Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang

On August 17, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs led a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Relic Site in Minh Thanh Commune, Tuyen Quang Province - considered the cradle of modern Vietnamese diplomacy.

The activity was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2025),

On the side of Tuyen Quang province, welcoming the delegation were comrades: Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, previous generations of diplomatic staff who devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and at the same time reviewed the glorious tradition of the nation and the diplomatic sector.

Signing the memorial book at the Tan Trao special national relic site, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong emotionally wrote: “Respectfully remember and deeply express gratitude to the predecessors, generations of revolutionary veterans who laid the foundation for Vietnamese diplomacy in the resistance capital - historic Tan Trao…

The collective of cadres and party members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs vows to continue to promote the glorious 80-year tradition of the sector, strive, train, promote the important and regular role, always be pioneering, proactive, positive, creative, successfully complete the mission of the diplomatic sector assigned by the Party and State, contribute to the cause of building, developing and defending the socialist Fatherland in the new era - the era of national advancement".

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong respectfully thanked the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province for always paying attention to, preserving and promoting the value of historical relics, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Relic Site - a priceless heritage of the industry.

He affirmed that the Party Committee of the Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to closely coordinate with Tuyen Quang province in preserving and promoting historical and cultural values, contributing to educating traditions and ideology for generations of cadres and party members today and tomorrow.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister and leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong presented gifts to the Minh Thanh Commune Education Promotion Fund.
