During the visit, the delegation was informed by CT Semiconductor representative that CT Semiconductor is proud to accompany Vietnam's aspiration to become the leading semiconductor manufacturing center in the region through world-class OSAT activities. At the same time, CT Semiconductor Factory representative introduced the compliance with semiconductor factory regulations, such as: applying JEDEC assembly and reliability standards; implementing global OSAT standards such as compliance with international standards on semiconductor manufacturing (IPC; SMEMA; SEMI) ...

CT Semiconductor representative introduced the semiconductor factory to the delegation.

Previously, on April 30, CT Semiconductor officially started construction of phase 2 of the semiconductor factory at CT Group High-Tech Development Center in Thuan An City. This project has a total investment of nearly 100 million USD (equivalent to more than 2,600 billion VND), built on a campus of 30,000m2 . In addition to manufacturing chips, the factory is also a research and development (R&D) center, devoting more than 10% of the annual budget to developing new technologies such as GaN (Gallium Nitride), Photonic, Advanced Packaging, artificial intelligence (AI) chips, 6G technology and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control chips. The factory is expected to be operational from the fourth quarter of 2025 and reach a capacity of 100 million chips per year by 2027. The expected capacity in the first phase is 3.5 million units/month.

CT Semiconductor's semiconductor factory is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology as part of Vietnam's National Semiconductor Strategy to 2030. CT Semiconductor is committed to technology transfer and domestic supplier development.
