Provincial People's Council delegation works with Chungcheongbuk Provincial Government, South Korea

Continuing the friendship visit program in Chungcheongbuk province, Korea, on the morning of April 23, the Provincial People's Council delegation led by Comrade Ha Quang Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, worked with Ms. Kim Soo-min, Vice Governor of Chungcheongbuk province.

At the working session, on behalf of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council Delegation, Comrade Ha Quang Tien provided general information on the socio -economic and environmental development situation, investment attraction policies of the province, expressing his hope that the Chungcheongbuk Provincial Government will continue to act as a bridge to help inform the business community about the environment and investment attraction policies of Vinh Phuc Province so that more and more enterprises from Chungcheongbuk Province in particular and Korea in general will come to Vinh Phuc Province.

Before the attention of the provincial leaders, comrade Ha Quang Tien informed about the implementation of the major policy of the Party and State of Vietnam on streamlining the apparatus, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency.

Currently, Vinh Phuc province as well as other localities across the country are carrying out the work of arranging and merging commune-level administrative units; converting the local government organization model from the current 3 levels (province, district and commune) to 2 levels (province and grassroots level) and building a project to implement the merger of provinces and cities.

Accordingly, in the coming time, Vinh Phuc province will be merged with Phu Tho province and Hoa Binh province. After the merger and formation of a new province with a larger area, population and economy, with more space and room for development, the two sides will have better conditions to continue to maintain and develop a good relationship and raise it to a new level.

Ms. Kim Soo-min said that Vinh Phuc is one of the foreign localities that has a close relationship with Chungcheongbuk province. In recent times, through cooperation activities, especially cooperation in the fields of personnel exchange, economic cooperation, and investment attraction, it has contributed to enhancing understanding between the two sides.

In the coming time, after Vinh Phuc province merges, Chungcheongbuk province wishes to continue to maintain and develop the good friendly cooperative relationship between the two sides and requests Vinh Phuc province to pay attention to coordinating the implementation of a number of signed cooperation programs.

The two sides discussed and agreed to continue to maintain information exchange and delegation exchanges to enhance understanding and promote practical and effective cooperation. At the same time, they created favorable conditions for the business communities of the two provinces to promote investment and trade promotion activities to attract more Korean enterprises and enterprises of Chungcheongbuk province to the province's industrial parks.
