“Vietnam is forever green” - art spreading the message of environmental protection

The art program with the theme “Vietnam forever green in all four seasons” brings together beloved artists such as People’s Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan… to bring songs and voices spreading the message of environmental protection. The program takes place at 7:30 p.m. on June 5, at the Vietnamese Cultural Space lobby (16 Le Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

This is a program directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized by the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater and related agencies and units, in response to World Environment Day (June 5) and the Month of Action for the Environment in 2025; at the same time, promoting the strengths of cultural and artistic activities to convey and widely spread messages about environmental protection in the community, contributing to raising awareness, thereby encouraging people to take practical actions to protect the environment.

In the program, the audience will enjoy works praising the beauty of nature, homeland and country; calling on people to connect more with nature and join hands to protect natural resources and the environment.

Along with People's Artist Thanh Lam and Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, the program will feature singer Thai Thuy Linh, the Hanoi Children's Club, a beauty queen - model group, a drum group, and artists and actors from the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater. The program will be hosted by two familiar MCs My Van and Danh Tung.

Participating in this meaningful art program, singer Thai Thuy Linh expressed: "As an artist, I feel responsible for using my voice, music and personal influence to contribute to spreading the message of green living, living responsibly towards nature and the community."

According to the singer, protecting the environment does not require grand statements, but rather very specific actions, from reducing plastic use, saving electricity and water, planting more trees, to singing a song... If art does not start with love for people and life, it will be very difficult to touch the hearts of others. Protecting the environment is a very practical way to nurture that love.

Along with the art program, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a campaign to its affiliated agencies and units to actively participate in environmental protection on the basis of integrating it with the 2025 work tasks.
