Vinh Phuc province delegation visited and presented gifts to DK1/11 platform

During the historic days of April, the delegation of Vinh Phuc province led by Mr. Vu Viet Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held a memorial service for officers and soldiers who died while on duty to protect the sovereignty of the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland. Also during the working trip, the delegation visited and encouraged officers and soldiers on duty at DK1 Platform.

Also attending were comrades: Luong Duc Minh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Than Van Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department.

In the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation respectfully bowed before the souls of the heroic martyrs.

After the incense offering ceremony, the wreath “Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs” and paper cranes were released on the sea to commemorate and show gratitude to the soldiers who died for the sovereignty of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland as well as affirm the patriotism of every Vietnamese citizen.

The working trip demonstrates the sentiment and responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Phuc province towards the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; at the same time, it contributes to fueling the tradition of patriotism for today's and future generations.

The working trip became even more meaningful when the delegation visited and encouraged officers and soldiers on duty at Truong Sa archipelago, DK 1/11 platform and people living on the island on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Truong Sa liberation (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2025) and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Navy (May 7, 1975 - May 7, 2025).
