Gimhae City Delegation paid a courtesy visit to Tay Ninh Province leaders

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc received a delegation from Gimhae city.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc expressed his delight at the development of the good relationship between Vietnam and Korea in recent times. In particular, the two countries have upgraded their relationship to a comprehensive partnership and have many cooperation programs in various fields.

Korean investment projects in Vietnam are among the top FDI projects in Vietnam in general and the top 3 FDI projects in Tay Ninh in particular. Out of the total of over 365 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of over 92 billion USD, Korean enterprises ranked third in terms of investment capital and second in terms of charter capital in Tay Ninh with a total registered capital of nearly 1 billion USD.

Provincial leaders highly appreciated foreign investment projects, especially Korean investment projects in Tay Ninh. Korean investors not only operate effectively but also make positive contributions to social security in the area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc emphasized: “Tay Ninh is very interested in creating conditions and supporting foreign invested enterprises in general and Korean enterprises in particular to explore investment, production and business opportunities; especially, during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the provincial leaders created the best conditions in terms of vaccines, mechanisms and policies so that enterprises can overcome the pandemic and soon restore production. In addition, the province always builds close and friendly relationships with enterprises - including Korean enterprises; pays attention to reforming administrative procedures, investment environment... ”.

In the good and comprehensive relationship between Vietnam and Korea, Tay Ninh province and Gimhae city signed a memorandum of cooperation. Over the years, the two localities have had a very close and close exchange relationship.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc was very impressed with the comprehensive and strong development of Gimhae city, hoping that in the coming time, the two localities will have more opportunities and comprehensive cooperation programs, especially in the economic field, experience exchange, investment attraction... to exploit the potential and advantages of the two localities.

On the occasion of the New Year of the Dragon 2024, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc wished the working delegation, leaders of Gimhae city and their families good health, happiness, prosperity and well-being; wishing the cooperative relationship between the two localities to be increasingly strong and successful.

Mr. Ahn Kyong-won - Vice Mayor of Gimhae City thanked the warm and enthusiastic welcome of the leaders of Tay Ninh Province. Currently, Gimhae City has many key industries developing in industry, including sports . The locality hopes to have the opportunity to exchange and cooperate with countries in Southeast Asia and around the world.

After the visit, the Gimhae city delegation hopes to have specific information on investment attraction, support policies... so that the delegation can disseminate it to businesses, especially those in Gimhae who want to invest in Vietnam, specifically Tay Ninh.

Mr. Ahn Kyong-won shared that the Vietnamese community has made a significant contribution to the development of Gimhae City. Gimhae currently has about 4,000 Vietnamese people living there. The locality always cares about and creates favorable conditions to support foreigners, especially the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Gimhae. After the working session with Tay Ninh province, Gimhae City will have plans to promote the development of diplomatic relations and development cooperation between the two localities.
