Receiving the inspection delegation were comrade Dang Quoc Khanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment ; Deputy Ministers Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa; Vo Tuan Nhan; Tran Quy Kien; Le Minh Ngan and leaders of specialized units of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment .
At the working session, delegates listened to the representative of Working Group No. 2 announce the decision, plan and inspection schedule; thoroughly understand the purpose, requirements, content and methods of the inspection; listen to the Summary Report on the results of the self-inspection of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment... The representative of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment presented a summary report on the situation and results of the work of institutionalizing the Party's guidelines and policies on preventing and combating corruption and negativity into State laws according to Plan No. 35-KH/BCDTW dated August 7, 2023 of the Steering Committee; Members of the Working Group gave additional comments...
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Party Executive Committee, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh affirmed that Party organizations and units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will create the best conditions for the inspection work to be carried out smoothly; emphasizing that inspection is an important measure to contribute to improving leadership capacity, promptly detecting loopholes and shortcomings to have solutions to overcome, thereby enhancing the fighting strength of Party organizations under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in the coming time.
On behalf of the Inspection Delegation, General To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and seriousness of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in directing the timely implementation of the Steering Committee's Inspection Plan; developing a report on the self-inspection results of the Party Committee and related agencies and units according to the Steering Committee's Outline.
General To Lam requested the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to direct relevant agencies, units and individuals to coordinate, provide and supplement timely and complete documents for the Inspection Team to synthesize and develop a Report on inspection results.
General To Lam noted that this is the first time the Steering Committee has conducted a thematic inspection on the institutionalization of the Party's guidelines and policies on preventing and combating corruption and negativity into State laws in a number of areas, including: land management and use; bidding; property auctions; judicial appraisal, property valuation in criminal proceedings; recovery of lost and misappropriated assets in criminal cases of corruption and economic crimes. Therefore, it is requested that comrades in the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and other agencies and units seriously and fully implement the inspection requirements.
General To Lam requested that members of Inspection Team No. 2 must properly perform their assigned functions, tasks and powers; strictly comply with Regulation No. 16 dated March 8, 2022 of the Steering Committee on inspection and supervision work; conduct focused and key inspections, focusing on inspection contents according to the Plan; respect and not obstruct the normal operations of inspection subjects and relevant agencies, units and individuals; ensure proactiveness, timeliness, publicity, democracy, impartiality, objectivity and strictness during the inspection process.
