LMD Tay Nguyen Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company (Cu M'gar district) is an enterprise specializing in the production and processing of agricultural products such as: coffee, cashew nuts, macadamia nuts, pepper, durian (fresh, frozen) and dried fruits for the domestic market and export.
With the goal of entering the global market, the company has focused on building a 400-hectare raw material area that meets standards (VietGAP, European, USDA organic) and implementing a traceability code system (QR code) to control product quality, as well as help stabilize the supply for production. At the same time, it has fully prepared the necessary conditions and certifications for exporting and selling agricultural products such as ISO 22000:2018, US FDA, OCOP, official export codes... Thanks to that, although it has only been in the export market for 3 years, the company's products are now available in a number of countries such as France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Israel, and China.
Mr. Truong Thanh, General Director of LMD Tay Nguyen Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company, said that proactively diversifying products and markets has helped the company's production and business activities to remain stable and stand firm in the market. In the first 5 months of 2025, the company's sales reached more than 5 billion VND (doubled compared to the same period last year), of which export value accounted for 90%.

To adapt to the new situation, in addition to traditional partners, the company is promoting connections and trade promotion to seek opportunities to expand exports and increase its presence in potential regions such as the Middle East and Asia. “The company has put into use green energy sources (solar energy), modern equipment and machinery to optimize production processes, save costs and create quality, environmentally friendly products to meet the increasing demands of the export market,” Mr. Thanh shared.
Faced with constant fluctuations in the international market, EDE Farm Service Trading Company Limited (Buon Ma Thuot City) identifies market diversification as a key strategy to minimize risks and increase sustainable competitiveness.
According to Mr. Hoang Danh Huu, CEO of EDE Farm Service Trading Company Limited, up to now, the company's finished roasted and ground coffee products under the MISS EDE brand have been imported and retailed in 3 states of the United States. This shows the company's production capacity, quality control and ability to meet the strict standards of one of the most demanding markets in the world . From this foundation, the company is confident in expanding to other markets. In particular, the company is prioritizing access to markets with which Vietnam has signed free trade agreements (FTAs), especially Korea, Japan, China, Canada and Southeast Asian countries, where there is an increasing demand for deeply processed coffee and clear tariff incentives.
In addition to efforts to meet orders from US partners, at the end of May, the company successfully exported a batch of 36,000 packages of finished coffee “MISS EDE Vietnam Robusta” to the Korean market. Thereby, contributing to expanding market share and bringing Dak Lak coffee products closer to international consumers.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, up to now, the province's goods (mainly agricultural products) have been exported to more than 80 countries and territories, including large and demanding markets such as the United States, the European Union (EU), Japan, South Korea, etc. with key products such as coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, durian, honey, rubber. This fact shows that the province's enterprises have been proactive and flexible in diversifying export markets, helping to minimize risks, improve business efficiency and competitiveness in the market. However, in recent times, the complicated global trade situation has made it difficult for export enterprises to sell their products and face increasing competitive pressure.

In this context, the Department of Industry and Trade has carried out many activities to support enterprises to continue to stabilize production, business and boost exports. Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Van Nhiem said that the Department is actively following the trade situation and developments, especially the import and tariff policies of countries in order to promptly provide information to enterprises to adjust production and business plans, proactively and flexibly adapt to market fluctuations. At the same time, it coordinates with relevant departments and branches to strengthen the organization of trade promotion activities, negotiate with countries with potential markets to continue to expand and diversify export markets, especially major partners regulated by FTAs with Vietnam.
Along with that, domestic trade promotion activities are still considered an important solution to help boost consumption and increase adaptability for businesses, especially small and medium enterprises. Therefore, the industry and trade sector will continue to support and create conditions for businesses in the province to promote and advertise their products on mass media; organize conferences to connect trade and consume products inside and outside the province, especially in big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi... to stimulate consumers to prioritize the use of high-quality domestically produced goods.
