Construction material businesses in Muong Khuong actively responded to the movement to eliminate dilapidated houses.
The movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses was launched, and construction material businesses in Muong Khuong district also responded positively, with the message: "Selling materials to poor households". Mr. Bui Ngoc Chau, Director of Tan Hoang Minh Enterprise, Muong Khuong district shared: "We are a business, selling at the most reasonable price, not raising the price, so that people have a stable price and can build houses".
With the spirit of solidarity and contribution of businesses, including Saigonbank, this year Mr. Sung A Sang's family will celebrate Tet in a new, spacious house. "Previously, I built a house with earthen walls and a roof of corrugated iron. I am very happy and grateful to Saigonbank for helping me build a new house," said Mr. Sung A Sang, Seo Phin Chu village, A Lu commune, Bat Xat district.
Mr. Sung A Sang's family is very happy because this year they get to live in a new house.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of Saigonbank Lao Cai Branch shared: "There are many poor households affected by storm No. 3. We also hope that this project will be a great resonance with society, joining hands and contributing to help stabilize the lives of local people and develop the economy ."
In the period of 2024-2025, the whole province has more than 11,000 poor and near-poor households and meritorious families who need support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The total support fund to achieve this goal is about 574 billion VND. This is not a small number, so the cooperation and contribution of organizations, individuals and businesses is of special importance. Comrade Ly Van Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said: "By December 31, 2024, many corporations and businesses have registered to support, up to now about 136 billion. We have coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to allocate to districts and cities for implementation".
“Whoever has something contributes, whoever has merit contributes merit, whoever has property contributes property, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little”. With this viewpoint, up to now, Lao Cai has supported the elimination of over 5,000 temporary and dilapidated houses, helping families stabilize their lives, strive to rise up, and contribute to the province in doing a good job of social security.
