Taiwanese enterprises survey and learn about the investment environment in Binh Thuan

BTO-The delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of 25 Taiwanese enterprises recently visited and studied the investment environment in Binh Thuan industrial parks (IPs) on the afternoon of April 2, 2025. In Ham Thuan Nam district, the delegation had a meeting to exchange information with the investor of Ham Kiem I Industrial Park infrastructure and learn about the production and business activities at Sheh Fung Screws Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Ham Kiem II Industrial Park. On this occasion, the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City and Taiwanese enterprises also spent time on a field survey, working with the investor of Song Binh Industrial Park infrastructure (Bac Binh district), and visiting the titanium mineral processing factory in this industrial park.

Working with the delegation, the leaders of the Binh Thuan Industrial Park Management Board provided basic information about the potential, advantages and orientation of the locality in developing the industry in general and the industrial parks in particular. In particular, Binh Thuan now has the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet - Vinh Hao expressway running through the length of the province, Vinh Tan International Port has been invested in and put into operation, Phan Thiet Airport is speeding up construction progress... Thereby gradually connecting with the key economic region in the South, creating competitiveness and favorable conditions to attract investors to bring projects to Binh Thuan, including industrial parks and clusters in the province.

In Bac Binh district, the delegation also worked with the investor of Song Binh Industrial Park infrastructure and visited the titanium mineral processing factory in this industrial park.

Through field surveys and information exchanges, the relevant parties have clarified the issues that the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City and Taiwanese enterprises are interested in. Especially regarding the investment environment in Binh Thuan such as: Investment attraction policies, priority investment sectors, land rental prices, human resources, ensuring electricity supply, wastewater treatment... in industrial parks in the province. Thereby, we will record and connect with the Taiwanese business community to continue researching and learning more necessary information, aiming to promote investment registration with specific projects (such as in the processing - manufacturing industry, energy...).
