Instructions for online registration of electronic identification

This is one of the key tasks to effectively implement the Government 's Project 06 on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation.

According to the Director of the Long An Economic Zone Management Board - Le Truong Chinh, registering an electronic identification account is a necessary condition for businesses to carry out administrative procedures online.

Representatives of organizations and enterprises can directly register or authorize another individual to register for an electronic identification account through the VNeID application or on the website https://vneid.gov.vn.

In case the business encounters difficulties during the registration process, it can contact the police agency where the ID card was issued for guidance, support and receipt of documents.

The Director of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board said that from July 1, 2025, 100% of enterprises in Long An province will carry out administrative procedures through the electronic environment, using electronic identification accounts is a mandatory condition.

This is an important step to save costs, reduce time and paperwork, and improve accuracy and efficiency in accessing public services.

“We recommend that businesses pay attention to early registration of electronic identification accounts to facilitate the implementation of online public services in the coming time,” Mr. Le Truong Chinh emphasized.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Nhat Minh - Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of Long An Provincial Police, said that the provincial police force is focusing on deploying electronic identification for agencies and organizations in the whole province under the direction of the Government's Project 06 Working Group.

Previously, on December 30, 2024, the Working Group implementing Project 06 provinces issued Plan No. 1171/KH-TCTTKDA, clearly defining the roadmap for implementing electronic identification for organizations to serve digital transformation and effectively use online public services.

Long An Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 3484/UBND-THKSTTHC, dated April 3, 2025, directing to promote propaganda and mobilization of identity account registration for organizations and enterprises in the province./.
