Mr. Vu Hoai Duc, General Director of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company, shared: "Our goal in the new year is to continue expanding production, optimizing production and business activities, and saving costs in production operations. We always focus on research and development to create products with the best quality. Our point of view is that difficulties do not mean a reduction in product quality, and customer care services are not optimized and the best. Therefore, the entire company will work hard to improve production efficiency to both contribute to increasing local budget revenue, as well as improving living standards and income for workers.

According to Mr. Cho Hyun Seok, Administrative Director of Unipax Vi Thanh Co., Ltd., thanks to the efforts of the whole team, the factory's revenue in 2023 was over 316 billion VND. On that basis, in 2024, Unipax Vi Thanh aims to increase the maximum production capacity to 1.2 million products/month by improving the capacity of workers through training, basic management assessment and the use of automation equipment such as automatic cutting machines and automatic sewing machines.

At Hau Giang port, continuous operations to ensure the progress of ship clearance and cargo loading and unloading of partners have become a familiar image, whether on weekends or holidays. Mr. Vo Thanh Phong, General Director of VIMC Hau Giang, said: The company maintains its production and business activities and always cares and creates conditions to take care of the lives of managers and employees of the unit. Promoting the role of a gateway and a trading hub, in 2023, VIMC Hau Giang will load and unload about 1,080,000 tons, 6,200 Teus, with revenue reaching 64 billion VND, an increase of 20% compared to 2022.

Positive signals right from the first working days have created new energy and vitality for the industrial sector in particular and the province's economy in general to accelerate in 2024.

Estimated value of industrial production in January 2024 at current prices was VND 5,828.13 billion, up 0.65% over the previous month and up 34.37% over the same period. The index of industrial production (IIP) increased 0.76% over the previous month and up 20.01% over the same period last year.
