Ms. Thanh Nguyen - CEO and Happiness Inspiration of Anphabe affirmed that businesses are facing many difficulties in production, orders, markets... The above difficulties force Vietnamese businesses to arrange and restructure their businesses to be most effective.
This is also the reason why 37% of businesses have cut staff, 25% have promoted automation. The survey results of this unit show that in 2024, 28% have restructured. It is forecasted that this year, about 10% of businesses will continue to implement this plan. Although trying to streamline, 46% of businesses said that it is difficult to recruit good staff.

Similarly, when assessing the labor market in the first months of the year, Vieclam24h.com reported that in the first two months of 2025, the Vietnamese labor market recorded positive signs of recovery compared to the same period in 2024.
The survey results also show that recruitment demand increased by 19% compared to the previous year, reflecting the trend of expanding human resources of enterprises. However, this increase has not been matched by labor supply, as job search demand has not been met evenly across industries.

According to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs 2025 Report, structural transformation will have a strong impact on the labor market in the period 2025 - 2030. It is expected that about 8% of total current jobs (equivalent to 92 million positions) will disappear, but new positions will also be created.
This trend forces workers to change careers if they do not want to be unemployed. However, the biggest challenge is that businesses require candidates to have more experience and skills. Most of them are advanced skills such as: using AI, digital technology, analytical thinking, flexible adaptability and leadership capacity.
