On a weekend afternoon, Ni Coffee Shop on Nguyen Dinh Chinh Street (Phu Nhuan District) is crowded with customers. Entering the shop, the space inside is like a memory station that takes me back to the old South, where there is a three-room tiled-roof wooden house, a wood stove, a trellis of squash and pumpkins laden with fruit, lush rice fields, lush green Malabar spinach beds or a garden of bright yellow marigolds...
Guests sit under the cool green squash trellis enjoying a cup of morning coffee at Ni.

The cafe space is cool after the rain on the last day of the year. Mr. Duc Tuyen said that he and his 3 friends opened this cafe in November. To have the current space of the cafe, he and the founders spent 6 months preparing. During that time, Mr. Duc Tuyen had many trips to the West to find old items and objects to arrange miniature scenes that recall old memories, creating a unique style for the cafe.

Accordingly, every Thursday night, the cafe organizes art programs such as amateur singing, bingo shows and plans to organize more call-and-response, bai choi... for customers to experience.
At the end of the year, the restaurant is filled with traditional Tet atmosphere with apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, marigolds, red parallel sentences, lucky money envelopes... attracting customers to take photos.
Ms. Hoai Thu (27 years old, living in Binh Thanh District) and her group of university friends decided to wear Ao Dai to take Tet photos when they accidentally learned about the shop through social networks. "At first, I wondered what was there that people were sharing so much about on the internet. When I got there, I was really surprised that the shop had many beautiful angles for taking Tet photos. The shop has a cool space outside and a warm space inside that made me feel like I was entering an old Western house with objects from decades ago. I have many satisfactory photos," she said.
