Previously, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team also defeated Chinese Taipei, India, and Hong Kong (China) with the same score of 3-0.

With 4 wins in a row, the Vietnamese women's team won first place in Group A and will meet the second place team in Group B, Kazakhstan.

The confrontation between Vietnam and Kazakhstan this afternoon will be a replay of last year's final, where Bich Tuyen and her teammates won 3-0.

With high form plus home field advantage and home crowd, the Vietnamese team is expected to win to enter the final.

The Vietnam women's team is the defending champion of the tournament in the last two seasons.

In 2023, in their first participation in the tournament, the Vietnamese women's team won a dramatic 3-2 victory in the final against host Indonesia.

A year later in the Philippines, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students defeated the Kazakhstan women's team 3-0 in the final match to win the "championship" for the second time in the continental playground.
