Vietnam Women's Futsal Team Determined to Win Against Philippines

On May 8 in Inner Mongolia (China), the Vietnamese women's Futsal team had a training session to prepare for the second match of Group B of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship against the Philippines women's team.

The 5-3 victory over Hong Kong (China) in the opening match provided great motivation for coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team in their immediate goal of passing the group stage.

The players are gaining confidence after their opening match victory.

After the opening match, the Vietnam women's Futsal team is currently maintaining a training pace and carefully analyzing tactics before the important match.

Before the training session on May 8, the team held a meeting to review experience from the opening match and review tactical plans for the following training session.

That same evening, the whole team continued to video conference to analyze the opponent Philippines in order to have the best preparation.

After an impressive performance with a double in the opening match against Hong Kong, player number 6 - Thanh Ngan continued to show great determination before the second match at the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship.

“I have prepared myself mentally and psychologically as much as possible, and am currently 100% focused on tomorrow’s match. My goal and the whole team’s goal is to win all 3 points against the Philippines,” Thanh Ngan shared.

Recalling her upcoming opponent, Thanh Ngan said: “I once faced the Philippine women's Futsal team at the Southeast Asian tournament.

They are a team with quality players and a methodical style of play. This will definitely be a much more difficult match than the match against Hong Kong.”

The match between the Vietnam Women's Futsal team and the Philippines will take place at 10:00 a.m. on May 9 (Vietnam time).

If they win, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team will almost complete their first goal of passing the group stage at the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
