The Vietnamese team has arrived in Malaysia, ready for the match against the "Malaysian Tigers" in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

On this away trip, Vice President of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Anh Tu is the head of the delegation.

Before going to Malaysia, the Vietnamese team had more than a week of training at the VFF Youth Football Training Center. Here, coach Kim Sang Sik also recorded many unfortunate injuries, forcing early departures from the team such as Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Nguyen Thanh Binh and Nguyen Cong Phuong. To have full squad numbers, the Korean strategist called up additional players Dang Van Toi, Pham Ly Duc and Nguyen Quoc Viet.

Also during the training days, the "Golden Star Warriors" had an internal practice match with the U22 Vietnam team and won 2-1. Through this match, Coach Kim Sang Sik had the most comprehensive view of the players, from which he prepared tactics to confront the "Malaysian Tigers".

In Group F, Malaysia and Vietnam are the two teams with the best chances of advancing to the Final Round. Both teams have 3 points after winning the first match, but Vietnam is ranked higher thanks to goal difference. Since only 1 team from each group has advanced, the match between Vietnam and Malaysia on June 10 will be no different from the final match.
