Le Ngoc Thanh (born in 2010) is an adopted child of Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station, and has been in foster care for 68 months. The unit has worked closely with the school to ensure that Thanh has a full education according to the junior high school curriculum. The unit has provided financial support, books, learning tools, and created conditions for him to fully participate in activities. Thanh has completed the 9th grade program with stable academic results, demonstrating a spirit of learning and good discipline.
During the time of foster care, Thanh lived in the disciplined environment of the unit, participated in collective activities such as sports, increased production and the regimes and programs maintained by Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station. The unit regularlyeducated him about ideology, ethics, lifestyle, traditional values and civic responsibility, helping him develop a comprehensive personality.
Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station has received full support from all levels of government, benefactors and contributions from the efforts of officers in the unit to establish two savings books worth 66 million VND, to support Thanh in the future. These savings books will be handed over to the family for management according to the right purpose and legal regulations.
