Currently, in Ha Nam province, there are 369 FDI projects with registered capital of 5.4 billion USD, of which 107 projects are from Japanese investors (accounting for 1/3 of FDI projects), with a total registered investment capital of over 1.3 billion USD (equivalent to 24.2% of total FDI investment capital in Ha Nam). There are many large investors with brands operating very effectively in Ha Nam province such as: Honda, Sumi, YKK, ... The activities of FDI enterprises investing in Ha Nam, especially Japanese enterprises, have actively contributed to the economic restructuring, increasing the value of industrial production, especially in the fields of supporting industries, manufacturing, and processing according to the development orientation of the province; creating jobs for workers, contributing to the budget, actively participating in the province's social security activities (In 2022, Japanese enterprises contributed 3,351 billion VND to the provincial budget; In 2023, they contributed 2,818 billion VND). On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and thanked the contributions of Japanese enterprises to Ha Nam province.

Sharing the difficulties of enterprises, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong emphasized: the difficulties of enterprises are also the issues that the Ha Nam provincial government always pays attention to, directs and resolves.
