(GLO)- On the afternoon of May 26, at the third conference of the Party Executive Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Agencies, term I, 2020-2025, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies announced Decision No. 58-QU/DU dated May 26, 2025 to establish the Gia Lai Newspaper grassroots Party Committee.

Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee was established on the basis of merging Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee and Gia Lai Radio and Television Party Committee.

Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee has 87 party members and its own seal; performs the functions and tasks of a grassroots party committee according to the Party Charter, Regulation No. 338-QD/TW, dated November 26, 2010 of the Central Party Secretariat regulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the newspaper agency of the Party Committee of provinces and centrally-run cities.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies announced Decision No. 59-QD/DU dated May 26, 2025 appointing the Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies appointed the Executive Committee of the Gia Lai Newspaper's grassroots Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 7 comrades; Comrade Huynh Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Dang Huy Cuong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary; appointed the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 3 comrades, and Comrade Dang Huy Cuong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper to hold the position of Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Committee.

On behalf of the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee, comrade Huynh Kien respectfully expressed his thanks to the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Party Executive Committee of the provincial Party agencies for their trust and confidence. Secretary of the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee Huynh Kien pledged to work with the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Gia Lai Newspaper to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Newspaper to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

Speaking at the assignment, on behalf of the Party Executive Committee of the provincial Party agencies, comrade Thai Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies congratulated the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee and the comrades who have just been appointed to new positions. He affirmed that this is the trust of the superior Party Committee, and at the same time, it is also a great honor and responsibility for the collective and individuals of the comrades in the Gia Lai Newspaper Party Committee.
