Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang meets with voters in Quang Ninh.

On December 17th, the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a meeting with voters following the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, using a hybrid format of in-person and online participation from the provincial-level venue to 53 venues in communes, wards, and special zones throughout the province.

Attending the meeting with voters were comrades Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; and Vu Hong Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

During the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang informed the voters about the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget for 2025. He emphasized that, in the context of a complex international situation with many new and unpredictable developments, and natural disasters causing heavy losses of life and property in many regions of the country.

Under the wise and decisive leadership of the Party, the involvement of the Government and the entire political system, and the spirit of unity, unwavering resilience, and immense creativity of the people, the whole country has gradually overcome difficulties and achieved important socio-economic results.

Against the backdrop of positive national development, Quang Ninh province continues to affirm its role as one of the most dynamic and innovative localities, holding an important position as a leading force in the Northeast region and the entire country, making practical contributions to overall growth, budget stability, and social security.

He expressed confidence that Quang Ninh would continue to maintain its leading position, uphold the spirit of "Discipline and Unity," develop rapidly and sustainably, and build a homeland that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, and modern, worthy of being a growth pole of the whole country.

During the meeting, voters in the localities acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the National Assembly representatives from Quang Ninh province, especially in discussing and deciding on major and important issues of the country, as well as the social welfare activities of the delegation.

Voters also proposed several issues such as: the salary regime for commune-level officials and civil servants after mergers; the development of cultural industries and heritage economy... The National Assembly should consider issuing a Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to create a legal framework and resources regarding land, investment, state finance and budget, taxes, preferential loans and land leases, in order to promote businesses to invest in the development of cultural products and services from production to consumption, thereby developing cultural industries and heritage economy into a sustainable growth engine for the locality and region…

Voters in Hong Gai ward submitted their petitions to the National Assembly representatives and leaders of Quang Ninh province during a meeting.

At the conference, the leaders of Quang Ninh province received and responded to the recommendations related to the province's jurisdiction. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation compiled a report to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and relevant authorities as prescribed, ensuring that all legitimate recommendations of voters are considered and resolved.
