Dong Giang District Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay", "Tet for the poor - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025, presenting 130 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a value of more than 91.5 million VND. Visited and presented 12 gifts to students and union members who unfortunately suffered from serious illnesses or disabilities.
The grassroots trade union guided union members and workers in difficult circumstances to participate in the "Union Tet Market" program through the e-commerce trading floor. As a result, 58 union members were able to buy gifts for 0 VND (each gift worth 500,000 VND); supported 1 "Union Shelter" house worth 60 million VND.
In the first 6 months of the year, the whole district developed 180 new union members, established 1 grassroots union (Hang Gop Eco-tourism Joint Stock Company), received 220 union members from grassroots unions (Quang Trung High School, Au Co High School, District Medical Center), bringing the total number of union members in the whole district to 1,600 union members.
Last school year, school grassroots unions coordinated to organize many activities, focusing on the movements "Teach well, learn well", "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity"... In the 2024 - 2025 school year, 100% of grassroots unions completed their tasks well or better, of which 6 grassroots unions completed their tasks excellently.
At the conference, Dong Giang District Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 28 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, and trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year.
