Dream Plastic Ninh Binh Co., Ltd. (Khanh Thuong Industrial Park, Yen Mo) has been operating since 2019. Up to now, the company has created jobs for nearly 600 workers with a salary of 8-10 million VND/person/month. Most of the workers are local.
Ms. Bui Thi Chuyen in Khanh Thuong commune said that when she first joined the Company, she was trained and assigned suitable jobs. Ms. Chuyen was excited: With a suitable job and good benefits, I have no intention of "jumping" jobs. I will stay with the Company for a long time. In the past, the Company has increased salaries, increased allowances and has many other preferential policies. Therefore, we, the employees, are very excited and are even more attached to the Company.
Increasing salaries according to regulations, ensuring that employees enjoy full benefits and welfare regimes according to current regulations, designing a green and healthy working space for employees... are the Company's efforts to stabilize morale and attract employees.
However, according to the company's leaders, to meet production needs, the company needs thousands of workers. However, the local workforce is currently insufficient to meet the recruitment needs of the business, so the company has posted recruitment information on mass media channels and sent recruitment needs to many other localities in and outside the province. Labor recruitment is extremely difficult.
Ms. Pham Thi Hai, in charge of human resources of the Company, said that labor is the asset of the enterprise. Only when employees are committed and accompany the enterprise can it develop sustainably. With that spirit, over the years, the Company has always strived to ensure the legal rights and interests of employees; has a policy of visiting and supporting those who encounter sudden difficulties or are in especially difficult circumstances. Not only ensuring that employees work in a safe environment, the Company also focuses on shift meals to ensure the health of employees. The lunch menu is always changed to ensure nutrition and taste for employees.
However, like many other companies, Dream Plastic Ninh Binh Co., Ltd. also faces many difficulties in recruiting workers. “The company needs to recruit 300-500 more workers. We have distributed flyers and posted recruitment notices on social networks; through the radio systems of neighboring communes and towns... But the recruitment of workers has not shown any positive signs. The economic recovery of enterprises in labor-intensive sectors such as textiles, footwear, electronics... in recent times has made the competition for labor more difficult,” said Ms. Pham Thi Hai.
According to the assessment of the functional sector, in the first 6 months of 2025, enterprises maintained production and business momentum; stable orders, ensuring jobs for workers until the end of the year. Therefore, the need to recruit new workers according to signed orders of enterprises occurs quite often. Recruitment trends are very diverse, distributed across many industries, including industries related to trade and services with large recruitment trends; followed by industries related to production, processing and manufacturing industry, electronics, textiles, footwear, etc.
Grasping the needs of enterprises, localities and functional sectors have implemented solutions to support enterprises in labor recruitment such as: Announcing and posting information on enterprises' recruitment needs on the media (radio, electronic information portals of agencies, units, Job Exchanges, etc.) so that workers in need know and register for recruitment; coordinating with neighboring provinces to organize job connections; connecting enterprises with training institutions inside and outside the province to inform learners about suitable job trends; encouraging enterprises and training institutions to sign cooperation agreements on training for enterprises' workers for long-term recruitment needs, etc.
In particular, the Department of Home Affairs has strengthened the direction of the Provincial Employment Service Center to provide recruitment information of enterprises and advise unemployed workers to know and apply. The Provincial Employment Service Center has also proactively and flexibly implemented many measures to connect labor supply and demand.
Comrade La Thanh Tung, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, affirmed: Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Employment Service Center has received tens of thousands of job vacancies registered by businesses. In order to connect employers with employees, the Labor Market Information Department has recently built a database on labor supply and demand, and planned recruitment for monthly job fairs.
In particular, the Center has strongly applied IT to its operations. Accordingly, instead of organizing direct labor recruitment at the trading floor, the Center has organized online job trading sessions; posted recruitment information on the website so that workers can directly exchange with employers...
With those efforts, in the first 6 months of the year, it is estimated that the whole province has created jobs for 9,890 people (reaching 51% of the yearly plan), of which the number of workers working abroad under contract is 840 people (reaching 60% of the yearly plan).
