Clearly identifying that building a new rural area is a long-term process, requiring the participation of the entire political system and the entire people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continues to stick closely to the grassroots, focus on residential areas, promote the spirit of creativity and self-management of the people, and implement campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in many creative, practical and effective forms and ways.

The movement of solidarity in building economic life, joining hands to build new rural areas, and building civilized urban areas continues to strongly arouse the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance in production and economic development in residential areas.

Accordingly, the fronts at all levels have actively propagated and mobilized people of all walks of life to exploit and promote the potential and strengths of each region; compete in labor production, business, and legitimate enrichment. Introduce high-yield, high-quality varieties and crops and apply scientific and technical advances in production; many farm and ranch models in the direction of intensive investment such as models of raising local pigs, wild pigs, rabbits, goats, poultry, waterfowl, rice, fish farming, river aquaculture, growing vegetables and crops with high economic value are increasingly being replicated in residential areas.

Many cooperatives, families, and groups of households in residential areas have helped poor households with capital and shared production and livestock raising experiences. Recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has supported 500 million VND to Cam Hieu commune, Cam Lo district to build 17 model gardens; supported 360 million VND to build a cooperative group for purchasing and processing aquatic products in Gio Hai commune, Gio Linh district, which has initially been effective, creating jobs for 24 poor households in the locality...

Along with that, the Front has mobilized and promoted the role of the People in participating in economic development, poverty reduction, actively contributing to the socialization of construction of essential works serving people's lives. Mobilizing the People to implement measures to ensure environmental sanitation, participate in self-management groups on security and order, and build a cultural lifestyle in residential areas.

Strengthening information and propaganda work on building new rural areas, effectively implementing emulation movements to build new rural areas, promoting the spirit of self-awareness, autonomy, self-reliance and self-strengthening of the people. Continuing to promote the role of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations on the implementation of policies, mechanisms, policies, the use and mobilization of resources to implement the program and people's satisfaction with the results of the implementation of the new rural program. Organizing to collect opinions to assess people's satisfaction with the results of building new rural areas...

Promote activities to call for and mobilize support for the annual "For the Poor" Fund. Continue to implement the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front... From 2021 to March 31, 2025, all levels in the province have supported the construction of 5,165 new solidarity houses, temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households with a total value of 339,370 million VND; supported the repair of 2,599 houses with a total value of 71,278 million VND...

To contribute to the implementation of the new rural construction program in localities, the provincial fronts at all levels have also carried out well the contents of solidarity in building cultural life, taking care of education, developing human resources, taking care of people's health; building cultural families; promoting the tradition of gratitude, mutual love and affection. The national great unity festival was organized in 100% of residential areas, of which over 85% of residential areas carried out both the ceremony and community bonding activities.

Through the festival, the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, community cultural values, and the close relationship between the Party, the State and the People are maintained and multiplied... The program of environmental protection and response to climate change is implemented with many specific and practical activities. The Front and its member organizations at all levels from districts, towns, cities to the grassroots have closely followed the plans of the steering committees at the same level to develop propaganda content, prevent crimes and social evils.

At the same time, it highlights the role and responsibility of each member in implementing the movement “All people protect national security”. Through activities, forums of the Front and member organizations have contributed to raising awareness in the work of preventing, combating and repelling crimes and social evils.

Promoting the achieved results, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee determined to continue implementing solutions to improve the quality of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with the implementation of the movement "Quang Tri joins hands to build new rural areas" and the movement "Quang Tri joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" to realize the goals of building new rural areas, civilized urban areas and sustainable poverty reduction.

At the same time, strengthen the mobilization of people to actively mobilize resources to help each other develop the economy, create jobs, sustainably reduce poverty, reorganize appropriate production; solve employment, increase income so that residential areas no longer have poor households, increase well-off and rich households, and do not have temporary housing; participate in the renovation of residential areas in the area. Continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to actively respond and participate in building and effectively maintaining "Self-governed, united, prosperous, happy" residential areas in the period of 2024-2029.
