Born more than 5,000 years ago in India, Yoga is a practice method to achieve unity between body and mind, between thought and action, between control and fulfillment, communion with nature, thereby understanding and realizing the potential within humans.
With the humanistic meaning and health value that Yoga brings, the United Nations General Assembly recognized and chose June 21 every year as International Yoga Day.
Following the success of previous events, this is the third consecutive year that Quang Tri province has coordinated with the Embassy of India in Vietnam to organize the International Yoga Day event. This year’s event has the theme: “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.
It is known that Quang Tri is the first province to organize the International Yoga Day event in 2025, part of a series of 30 events held in 30 provinces and cities nationwide.
