Accordingly, Central Retail's GO!, Tops Market, and mini go! supermarket systems nationwide will consume about 1,000 tons of lychee, double that of last year.

A representative of Central Retail Group said that they will reserve the best locations in the GO!, Tops Market and mini go! supermarket systems to display lychees; at the same time, they will apply a series of especially attractive shopping stimulus policies.

In addition, Central Retail also committed to supporting lychee exports to Thailand through the Central Group's retail distribution system.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, by 2025, the whole province will have 29.7 thousand hectares of lychee, accounting for over 60% of the province's fruit growing area. The area of lychee produced according to VietGAP standards is 16 thousand hectares, Global GAP is 204 hectares, and organic is 10 hectares.

The 2025 lychee crop output is estimated at 165,000 tons, including 60,000 tons of early-season lychee and 105,000 tons of main-season lychee. It is expected that early-season lychee will be harvested from May 20 to June 15, and main-season lychee will be harvested from June 10 to July 30.
