The remains of the martyrs were found at a depth of 0.8 - 1 m, wrapped in a canvas, with many teeth and bones. The accompanying relics include canvas, buttons, wallets, pen bodies... Notably, there was a small plastic wristband with the words "SH-18-47X".
Previously, from information from local people, from May 19 to May 26, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team deployed to search and collect at the wind power construction area in Xa Re village, Huong Tan commune, discovered and collected 5 martyrs' remains.

According to information from the Huong Hoa District Internal Affairs Department, the location where the 6 martyrs' remains were discovered as of May 27 was previously occupied by units of Division 304, Corps 2, which participated in the Khe Sanh front. Currently, the martyrs' remains are being burned incense and cared for at the Huong Hoa District Cultural and Spiritual Area.
