Gasoline prices increase again from 3pm on May 29

On the afternoon of May 29, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced the adjustment of retail prices of gasoline and oil products, effective from 3:00 p.m. the same day.

Accordingly, in the adjustment period on May 29, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not make provisions and did not spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products.

Specifically, from 3:00 p.m. today, the maximum retail prices for petroleum products will be applied as follows:

The maximum price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,196 VND/liter, an increase of 74 VND/liter compared to the previous period.

The highest price of RON95-III gasoline is 19,565 VND/liter, an increase of 33 VND/liter compared to the previous period.

The price of 0.05S diesel is no higher than VND 17,136/liter, down VND 269/liter compared to the previous period.

The maximum price of kerosene is 17,108 VND/liter, down 206 VND/liter compared to the previous period.

The highest price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is 16,264 VND/kg, down 248 VND/kg compared to the previous period.

In this operating period, in response to the developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided on a plan to manage oil prices to ensure that domestic oil price fluctuations are consistent with world oil price fluctuations; continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 biofuel and RON95 mineral gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels according to the Government's policy; ensure the harmony of interests among market participants.
