Spreading the practice of learning and following Uncle Ho in trade union organizations

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a regular and voluntary activity in all levels of trade unions in Quang Tri province. Not stopping at slogans or movements, studying and following Uncle Ho is concretized by practical actions, associated with caring for the lives and protecting the rights of workers, thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.

Based on the full-course and annual topics, the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to concretize the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into specific and appropriate programs and action plans.

Many trade unions in the industry and at the grassroots level have implemented creatively and closely following reality. Typically, the trade union in the health sector chose the theme "Implementing the code of conduct, improving medical ethics, innovating the style and service attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction"; the trade union in the education sector with the theme "Each teacher is an example of self-study and creativity"; the grassroots trade unions at the commune and ward levels proactively coordinated with the government to promote the movement "Joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", established clubs to transfer science and technology, opened training courses to improve knowledge about agriculture and rural development for farmers, bringing high efficiency.

The trade unions have proactively selected and developed the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in a way that is appropriate and practical in connection with the assigned political tasks. In particular, they have focused on developing specific solutions to raise awareness and responsibility of the collective and each individual in the fight against bureaucracy, corruption and waste; strictly implementing working regulations and rules...

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor directed all levels of unions to guide and deploy to cadres, union members, and laborers to register jobs following Uncle Ho's example for each individual in accordance with the functions and tasks of each subject. In which, it focuses on registering existing problems and limitations in terms of ideology, ethics, lifestyle, expertise and profession to set out directions to strive for, action plans to evaluate the results of following. Thereby, contributing to creating strong changes from awareness, action to style, attitude, responsibility, and behavioral culture of cadres, union members, and laborers in each field of work.

At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor includes the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the resolutions of the trade union congress, the entire working program, the annual working program of the executive committee and the standing committee to organize implementation...

Trade unions at all levels have been creative and flexible, integrating the content of studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings with the implementation of a number of key contents, programs and tasks of trade union organizations such as caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; developing union members, establishing and building strong grassroots trade unions; implementing democratic regulations; improving the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements...

The study and following of Uncle Ho is also closely linked by trade unions at all levels with patriotic emulation movements, typically the movements: "Good workers, creative workers"; the program "75 thousand initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop"; "Building agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards"...

Through the implementation of emulation movements, there have been hundreds of topics and initiatives in various fields that have brought in tens of billions of dong in benefits. Many exemplary union members with technical innovation initiatives, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and dedication to work have been honored, contributing to encouraging and motivating union members and workers to uphold the sense of responsibility, labor discipline, and enthusiastically compete to complete professional tasks well.

Imbued with Ho Chi Minh's thought of "taking the people as the root", the trade unions at all levels of Quang Tri province have identified caring for the material and spiritual life of union members as one of the core contents in learning and following Uncle Ho. Many good and practical models have been focused on by the trade unions at all levels, such as building the "Union Shelter" fund, "Supporting union members in difficulty", "Revolving savings" to support female workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances; "Raising piggy banks - giving love", giving "Study Corners for children of workers and civil servants"... Thereby creating a positive effect, spreading widely in the trade unions at all levels and becoming a regular activity of cadres, union members and workers.

In order to deepen the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in the coming time, trade unions at all levels in the province will continue to seriously implement Directive 05-CT/TW; innovate learning methods in trade unions at all levels. At the same time, strengthen the application of information technology and social networks to effectively convey the content of studying and following Uncle Ho. Continue to direct trade unions to organize union members and employees to register for annual personal commitments and monitor and evaluate the implementation results of commitments in regular trade union activities.

Focus on inspection and supervision of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle among trade unions at all levels, union members, workers and civil servants; Party members, civil servants and public employees contribute to building a clean and strong Party and trade union organization. Organize preliminary and final reviews and evaluate the results of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to "Promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". Commend, reward and replicate good models, effective practices, and typical advances in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
