Opening of summer activities, responding to the Month of Action for Children

This afternoon, May 30, at Quyet Thang Primary School, Ben Quan Town, Vinh Linh District, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Pioneer Council coordinated with the Quang Tri Youth Activity Center and the Gas Works Exploitation Enterprise (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities, responding to the Month of Action for Children in 2025 and celebrating International Children's Day on June 1. The program had the participation of more than 500 students of Quyet Thang Primary School and Ben Quan Secondary and High School.

With the theme “Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children”, the Month of Action for Children 2025 calls for the cooperation of the whole society so that children can live, study, play and entertain in a safe and healthy environment, aiming for comprehensive development in both physical and mental aspects.

Through this program, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council call on all levels of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers to continue to pay attention and coordinate with local agencies, departments, branches and organizations to organize summer activities and the Month of Action for Children in a synchronous and effective manner.

On this occasion, the program's Organizing Committee presented 26 study corners (each worth 1 million VND); 16 bicycles, each worth 2 million VND for students in difficult circumstances.

At the same time, 1 set of drums and 500 red scarves were given to Quyet Thang Primary School; 1 set of computers worth 10 million VND was given to Quyet Thang Primary School; 550 gifts and candies were given to children attending the program on International Children's Day, June 1.
