Quang Tri Provincial Military Command: Conference to summarize the emulation movement

In the period of 2021-2025, the Provincial Military Command has proactively implemented the emulation movement "Skilled Civil Affairs" and built a "Good Civil Affairs Unit" closely and uniformly throughout the agency and unit, with many good models, creative ways of doing things, achieving practical effectiveness and having a strong influence throughout the province's armed forces.

Party committees and commanders at all levels have done a good job of propaganda andeducation for organizations and all soldiers to always have the right awareness, spirit and high responsibility in implementing the emulation movement. Agencies and units actively coordinate with localities to develop plans with specific emulation contents and targets, close to reality and suitable to local and unit conditions.

The coordination, consultation and implementation of projects and programs have brought about practical results, with good models and creative ways of participating in socio-economic development, helping people to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, build new rural areas, build culture and society, maintain national defense and security and build a strong political system.

From the emulation movement of "Skilled mass mobilization" and building "Good mass mobilization armed forces units", many programs and models have been effectively implemented such as "Solidarity, poverty reduction, building strong borders", "Combining field trips with mass mobilization work", "Mass mobilization work of the armed forces to build a comprehensive strong base on the border", "The army joins hands for community health", "Joining hands with the Countryside Light program", "Accompanying women in the border areas", "Accompanying fishermen going offshore and sticking to the sea".

Coordinated to support the construction of 3 gratitude houses, 28 comrade houses, 735 solidarity houses for policy beneficiaries with a total cost of over 46.56 billion VND; supported the sponsorship of 17 children in difficult circumstances, orphans, along with many activities of visiting and giving gifts to contribute to the good implementation of social policies and military rear policies.

Along with that, implementing the project "Improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work of the military region's armed forces in special areas in the military region for the period 2023 - 2030 and the following years", the Provincial Military Command has effectively implemented the models "Green Banh Chung for the Poor", "Godmother Connecting Love", "Joining Hands to Weave the Border Spring Colors", "Pot of Love Porridge", "Meals with Heroic Vietnamese Mothers"...

The effectiveness of those models and good practices has contributed to strengthening the solidarity and consensus between cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and local people, building and consolidating the people's firm trust in the Party and the army, contributing to maintaining political stability and creating a favorable environment to promote socio-economic development in the area.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 7 individuals with achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization unit" in the period 2021-2025.
