Quang Dien completed the goal of eliminating 76 temporary and dilapidated houses.

HNN.VN - On May 29, the monitoring delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hue City, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, member of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Hue City, had a working session with the People's Committee of Quang Dien District to inspect and evaluate the results of the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

From the beginning of 2025 until now, Quang Dien district has supported the construction and repair of 76 dilapidated houses.

According to the report, from the beginning of 2025 to now, Quang Dien district has reviewed and made a list of 91 households with temporary houses and dilapidated houses that need support for construction and repair; of which, 76 houses have been completed (10 newly built, 66 repaired), reaching 85.5% of the 2025 plan.

The main source of funding to support house construction is from the "For the Poor" Fund, the City's Temporary and Dilapidated House Elimination Program, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Quang Dien district.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Quang Dien district in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; at the same time, she requested the leaders of Quang Dien district to focus all resources, strengthen coordination between departments, branches and organizations to complete the goal of 100% of households having safe and solid houses before June 30, 2025.
