Displaying Vietnamese Ao Dai through historical periods

HNN.VN - "Vietnamese Ao Dai through historical periods" is the exhibition theme organized by the Hue City History Museum in collaboration with the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum, opening on May 29 at the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum (Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province).

The exhibition focuses on introducing to visitors more than 250 images, documents, artifacts, and typical Ao Dai collections through two main themes: Traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai through the ages and Hue - The Capital of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

This is an opportunity for everyone to explore and be proud of the beauty and sophistication of the traditional Ao Dai of Vietnam in general and the uniqueness of the Ao Dai collections of Hue, with characteristic colors and patterns, worthy of the position of "Hue - Capital of Vietnamese Ao Dai".

In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to learn and experience the actual steps to complete traditional handicraft products typical of Hue such as making Thanh Tien paper flowers, painting statues of Ong Cong and Ong Tao, experience sewing traditional Vietnamese ao dai and wearing ao dai to take souvenir photos...

The exhibition runs until June 29.
