According to the report at the meeting, Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone and industrial parks have attracted 120 investment projects, with a total registered land area of ​​371.1 hectares, a total registered investment capital of VND 7,739 billion and USD 44.2 million. The total implemented investment capital is VND 5,224 billion and USD 68.9 million. Of which, 88 projects are in operation, 2 projects are temporarily suspended, 30 projects are being invested. The operating projects are mainly in the following industries: seafood processing for export, wood processing for export, cashew processing for export, fertilizer production, construction materials production... In addition, Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone has been researched and proposed projects by major investors, such as Hoa Phat Group, N&G Group...

At the conference, representatives of enterprises proposed many difficulties and obstacles in the operation process such as continuing to simplify investment and construction procedures; investing in industrial park infrastructure; supporting labor recruitment; tax policies... Enterprises are also particularly interested in the policy of merging Phu Yen and Dak Lak provinces; believing that this will be a great opportunity for Phu Yen and Dak Lak to form a new dynamic region, enterprises will have more investment and business opportunities.

Within the framework of the conference, representatives of the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board and related departments and units answered some opinions of enterprises. For proposals and recommendations of enterprises that have not been answered on the spot, the agencies will receive them and will study and resolve them according to their authority. For contents beyond their authority, the departments and units will synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee to have measures to promptly resolve and remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises.

Concluding the conference, on behalf of the leaders of relevant sectors and units, Comrade Huynh Lu Tan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board affirmed: The unit always pays attention to and focuses on the management and investment support work. The unit focuses on administrative reform and digital transformation to create favorable conditions for investors and businesses. Businesses and investors also need to properly implement investment commitments, arrange adequate human and material resources to seriously implement projects. At the same time, pay attention to fully implementing legal regulations on environmental protection; fire prevention and fighting; occupational safety and hygiene.
