Son La High School for the Gifted's Association for the Promotion of Education and sponsors honor national excellent students.

The Son La High School for the Gifted has 34 branches, with more than 1,200 members, including staff, teachers and students. Ms. Pham Thi Thuan, Principal of Son La High School for the Gifted, Chairwoman of the school's Association for the Gifted, said: Under the close direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, the work of promoting learning and talent has been effectively integrated into all activities of the school, especially the implementation of the emulation movements "Building a learning society" and "Promoting the lifelong learning movement". Thanks to that, the school's learning environment is always vibrant, encouraging each staff, teacher and student to constantly improve their knowledge and skills. Last school year, 100% of the school's staff and civil servants registered and achieved the title of "Learning Citizen", the school also registered for the title of "Learning Unit", demonstrating a strong commitment to implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on education .

The 2024-2025 school year is a year of success for the school in terms of achievements, affirming its leading position in nurturing excellent students. The school's provincial-level excellent student team won 38 first prizes, 92 second prizes, 92 third prizes and 53 consolation prizes; the national excellent student team won 2 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 21 consolation prizes; participating in the provincial science and technology competition won 2 first prizes and 2 second prizes... In addition, the school's students won many awards at the 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp and the competition to select excellent students of specialized high schools in the coastal and Northern Delta regions. At the end of the school year, there were 895/1,149 excellent students, an increase of 2.36% compared to the 2023-2024 school year.

Every year, the School's Association for the Promotion of Learning actively mobilizes organizations, units, businesses and philanthropists to donate to organize the Ceremony to commend and reward learning and talent promotion, to recognize the efforts and outstanding achievements of teachers and students of the school, and at the same time spread the meaning of the work of encouraging learning and talent promotion. At the Ceremony to commend and reward learning and talent promotion for the 2024-2025 school year, 415 students were awarded with an amount of over 36,000,000 VND and 32 teachers with an amount of 12,650,000 VND.

As one of the students honored at the Commendation Ceremony, Mai Bich Ngoc, a 12th grader majoring in History, said: I feel very honored to have the best conditions created by my teachers and the school to develop my talents. The awards are not only material encouragement but also a great source of spiritual motivation, helping us to have more confidence and determination to conquer new heights of knowledge.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thuy, a parent whose child is studying at the school, shared: I am very happy and proud that my child is studying in an environment with a strong learning promotion movement. The commendation and reward ceremonies are the motivation for the children to continue to strive, creating a positive learning community, spreading the spirit of learning to everyone.
