Dong Nai is colorful at the 2025 Hot Air Balloon Festival

The opening ceremony of the Dong Nai Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 took place in a bustling, colorful atmosphere, attracting thousands of tourists and locals to attend. This is the first large-scale, international cultural and tourism event held in Dong Nai, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

On the opening day, 50 hot air balloons symbolizing 50 years of national reunification were simultaneously performed, along with free flight experiences, tours inside the hot air balloons, performances of 20 paragliders, fabric-wing planes, 40 model planes and drones, and the flying of 50 large-sized art kites. The event also impressed with a brass band performance by 500 Dong Nai musicians, 150 children setting a world record, and traditional festival drums with the participation of 120 drummers.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, organizing units, and artisans attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung emphasized that the Hot Air Balloon Festival is an important highlight in the strategy to promote the image and tourism potential of Dong Nai to the world, while building the brand of the province's typical tourism products. With a series of rich activities such as hot air balloon flights, motorized paragliding, fabric-winged aircraft, artistic aerodynamic kites, and children's brass band performances, the Festival promises to bring a vibrant cultural - tourism space, full of creative colors and attractive experiences.
