On the morning of May 7, comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade chaired a regular online conference on the progress of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen). Attending the conference at the Thai Binh province bridge was comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the progress report of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi, up to now, the site has been handed over to 1,177 pole foundation locations and 377/503 anchor intervals. The two provinces that have completed the handover of anchor intervals are Quang Binh and Ninh Binh , while the remaining 7 provinces are completing procedures to hand over the remaining anchor intervals. Particularly for the section passing through Thai Binh province, the project progress has completed the foundation casting at 47 locations, and is digging and casting foundations at 21 locations; the poles have been erected at 27 locations, and are being erected at 12 locations. There are 34 anchor intervals that are eligible for handover to the contractor and 13 anchor intervals that must undergo site clearance.

Thai Binh province has directed districts and communes to actively support contractors to promote and utilize local resources to carry out the "4 on-site" work such as ensuring the supply of materials, labor, construction machinery and organizing compensation for excavation and foundation casting work carried out by local enterprises and human resources. In the coming time, Thai Binh province will continue to coordinate and urge localities, support the electricity industry and contractors to promptly resolve arising problems, in order to properly implement the project progress.

Concluding the conference, the Minister of Industry and Trade requested ministries, branches, localities and Vietnam Electricity to focus on implementing the following tasks: No later than May 15, issue a policy framework for compensation, support and resettlement. Continue to promote and mobilize people to support the project during construction. Prepare materials well, do a good job of site clearance, and hand over the remaining anchorages before May 15. Publicize land prices and compensation plans according to regulations, ensure the relocation of households and works before June 15, and ensure the safety of the route corridor. Vietnam Electricity and the National Power Transmission Corporation coordinate with contractors to inspect the quality of works and review technical safety before putting the works into operation before June 30, 2024, as directed by the Prime Minister. Pay attention to labor safety, environmental safety, and construction quality during construction. Strive to complete wire pulling before June 10.
