According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, yesterday (June 17), in the Northern Delta region, Hoa Binh and from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai, there was hot and extremely hot weather, some places were especially extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly from 36-39 degrees, some places above 39 degrees such as: Ha Nam 39.2 degrees, Hoi Xuan (Thanh Hoa) 39.5 degrees, Tay Hieu (Nghe An) 40.1 degrees, Huong Khe (Ha Tinh) 39.9 degrees...; the lowest relative humidity commonly 45-50%.

The area from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan is hot, some places are extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly from 35-37 degrees, some places above 37 degrees such as: Hoai Nhon (Binh Dinh) 38.8 degrees, Son Hoa (Phu Yen) 38.1 degrees...; the lowest relative humidity commonly is 50-55%.

Weather forecast for today (June 18), the Northern Delta, Hoa Binh and from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai will have hot and extremely hot weather, some places will be especially hot with the highest temperature commonly from 36-39 degrees, some places over 39 degrees; the lowest relative humidity commonly 40-45%.

Other places in the North (except Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La where there is no widespread heat) and from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan have heat, some places have severe heat with the highest temperature commonly from 35-37 degrees, some places over 37 degrees; the lowest relative humidity commonly 45-50%.

In addition, this morning and tonight, in the mountainous areas of the North, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with common rainfall from 15-30mm, in some places over 70mm.
