According to Mr. Truong Quoc Khanh, in charge of communications at Tam Chuc Tourist Area, during the Vesak festival, visitors and Buddhists coming to Tam Chuc Pagoda will be completely exempted from boat and electric car tickets. The organizing committee will also arrange about 50,000 free vegetarian meals per day for visitors and Buddhists.
The organizers of the Vesak festival said that during the festival, in addition to worshiping the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni, people and Buddhists coming to Tam Chuc Pagoda will experience many cultural activities such as celebrating Buddha's birthday on the morning of May 18; a night of flower lanterns praying for national peace and prosperity and paying tribute on the evening of May 19; and experiencing a pilgrimage on the path of spiritual practice from May 17 to 20...
According to Mr. Khanh, it is expected that at 5:30 a.m. on May 17, the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni will be escorted from Quan Su Pagoda (Hanoi) to Tam Chuc Pagoda and enshrined at Tam The Palace for monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people to come and worship from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
When visiting Buddha's relics, visitors will receive free tickets for the tram, boat and vegetarian meals.
It is expected that at 12 noon on May 20, at Tam Chuc Pagoda, a farewell ceremony will take place and then the Buddha's relics will be carried to Noi Bai International Airport to return to India.
According to the organizers, during the festival, Tam Chuc Pagoda will not accept any fees from all people coming to worship the relics and will not accept wreaths or offerings; and will not perform offering rituals at the place of worship.
According to Mr. Truong Quoc Khanh, during the 5 days of the festival, Tam Chuc Pagoda is expected to welcome more than 200,000 visitors and Buddhists (about 40,000 - 50,000 people per day). Therefore, to ensure safety and order, all visitors and Buddhists coming to worship the relics must follow the instructions of the organizing committee, line up in order, move in rows, do not run or take shortcuts through the moving crowd, absolutely keep quiet, do not take photos or film inside the relics worship area as well as the relic worship areas.

In addition, children under 2 years old and those wearing inappropriate clothing will not be admitted to the place where Buddha's relics are enshrined. People with poor health, the elderly, and the disabled will be considered for priority lanes.
