According to Tuoi Tre Online , in recent days, durian, rambutan and apple gardens in Cua Can and Cua Duong communes (Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang ) have been ripening. Many gardeners have opened their doors to welcome domestic and foreign visitors to visit, take photos, and especially pick ripe fruits to enjoy in the garden.
Mr. Dinh Thien Thang, a tourist who came to experience the apple garden in Cua Duong commune, said that Phu Quoc has many fruit gardens such as durian, rambutan, and grapes. From May to June every year, the fruit gardens are in season, so he and his family are very excited to visit and take pictures.
"This apple garden allows free admission, and the owner charges about 60,000 VND/kg for picking fruit. The apples are in season and are plentiful. The apples are grown organically, so the fruit is sweet and delicious," said Mr. Thang.

Besides apple and rambutan gardens, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung's durian garden in Cua Duong commune is also crowded with visitors coming to visit and eat tree-ripened durian.
"My durian garden this year is estimated to produce 6 tons of fruit per season. Tourists really like to come and experience the fruits and eat them right there. There are not enough ripe durians to sell to customers. Sometimes customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City also order them and I pack them in boxes and deliver them to them," Mr. Hung happily said.
Ripe durians that have fallen from the garden are currently being sold by Mr. Hung and other gardeners in Phu Quoc for about 100,000 - 120,000 VND/kg. The price is high but there are not enough customers to buy.

Mr. Tran Minh Khoa - Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee - said that summer is also the time when the pearl island enters the rainy season. However, Phu Quoc still has its own attraction and many tourists choose to visit and experience with their families.
"Phu Quoc, as well as travel agencies and related parties, have plans to promote the traditional destination as well as design attractive combo packages and tour products to attract visitors," said Mr. Khoa.
Kien Giang Department of Tourism said that the unit coordinated with relevant units to propose policies to support initial necessary equipment in developing rural tourism, community tourism, and eco-tourism in Phu Quoc to serve visitors.
