Located in the World Natural Heritage Complex of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (PN-KB), Chay River - Dark Cave is one of the attractive tourist destinations in the journey of discovery and experience of visitors when coming to Quang Binh. Here, visitors can freely experience many exciting activities, such as: Kayaking on Chay River, ziplining across the river, mud bathing in Dark Cave, immersing in the cool water when participating in water games and enjoying specialties with rich local flavors.

Director of PN-KB Tourism Center Hoang Minh Thang said that although it has not really entered the peak tourist season, in the first months of 2024, many domestic and foreign tourists have come to visit and experience Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son Cave, Mooc Stream, Chay River - Dark Cave... As of the end of March 2024, there were 85,102 visitors to tourist attractions in PN-KB, including 15,400 international visitors.

Located in Bao Ninh commune (Dong Hoi city), the Regal Legend walking street and night street complex has become one of the highlights and new experiences for tourists in 2024.

Mr. Tran Phuong Chuong, General Director of Emerald Real Estate Development Company (under Regal Group) said that the establishment of the coastal night street (Regal Beach Walk) and the lakeside walking street (Regal Lake Walk) has quenched the "thirst" for an attractive nighttime entertainment, shopping destination for local people and is enough to attract tourists when coming to Quang Binh. The walking street complex consists of 8 main streets, divided into 3 complexes: Seafood street and sea sports center, coastal walking street, lakeside walking street. In order to enhance the experience, Regal Group has organized many entertainment activities throughout the day and week such as music shows, free movies, street games; cooperated with small businesses to organize hundreds of kiosks serving food and shopping 24/7; entertainment services for children, such as: electric cars, animal cars, inflatable floats, etc.

As soon as they were put into operation, the streets attracted nearly 3,000 visitors per day; on weekends, up to 5,000 visitors per day and in the summer, it is expected to welcome 5,000-10,000 visitors per day. To create more highlights and attract visitors, on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, the streets will organize beer festivals and water festivals with the appearance of many famous singers, MCs, DJs, and bands from home and abroad.

It is expected that in the summer of 2024, Regal Group will continue to install many new symbols on the streets for people and tourists to have fun and check in, such as: 6m high Great Whale symbol, Little Clouds symbol, Angel Wings and 6m high RGB lighting system...; opening the top art system - Seaworld and the classy water music show system.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, the province currently has 39 ranked hotels, including: 3 5-star hotels, 7 4-star hotels, 9 3-star hotels, 15 2-star hotels and 8 1-star hotels; 493 motels, homestays, farmstays and other accommodation establishments with 6,093 rooms. In the first 3 months of 2024, the number of guests staying in Quang Binh is estimated at 417,977, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2023; accommodation service revenue is estimated at 141.3 billion VND, an increase of 13.3% over the same period.

Quang Binh not only has beautiful landscapes, rich cultural heritage and friendly, hospitable people but also impresses with interesting experiences from local cuisine. Traditional dishes that converge regional identity, eye-catching colors, attractive flavors... have become one of the factors contributing to attracting tourists to Quang Binh.

Coming to tourist destinations, after immersing themselves in nature, visitors can enjoy dishes imbued with local culture, such as: Grilled chicken, grilled fish, sticky rice, stone crab, stream shrimp... According to oceanography experts, the Quang Binh sea has a warm ocean current flowing through it, so the seafood here has a very unique sweet and aromatic taste. Therefore, tourists, even though they have tasted all the delicacies of the regions, still think that the dishes here have their own rich flavors.
