Putting into operation the 6-lane road connecting Bac Giang - Thai Nguyen - Vinh Phuc

This is Ring Road 5 passing through Pho Yen city and Phu Binh district ( Thai Nguyen ) with a total length of more than 18 km, built according to Decision No. 1454 dated September 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister. The route meets 6-lane expressway standards, with a total implementation cost of nearly 1,784 billion VND.

The operation of Ring Road 5 through Thai Nguyen province will form a high-level East-West axis, connecting localities of Phu Binh district, Pho Yen city with Bac Giang province and connecting with the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway, connecting with the regional connecting road of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen and Vinh Phuc.

In addition, the project also connects and creates a traffic route connecting and directly transporting industrial parks, export processing zones, and potential land areas along both sides of the route with the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway, thereby connecting to Noi Bai airport, Hanoi capital and industrial parks in Bac Ninh province.
