In deep emotion and grief, delegations of the Party, State, National Assembly , Government, Vietnam Fatherland Front; high-ranking delegations of several countries; ministries, departments, branches, localities, units; officers and soldiers of the armed forces and a large number of people respectfully paid tribute to former President Tran Duc Luong.
The delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and the National Assembly delegation of Bac Giang province, led by comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, laid a wreath and paid tribute to comrade Tran Duc Luong at the National Funeral House. Also participating in the delegation were comrades: Pham Van Tao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Nghiem Xuan Huong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial agencies, departments and branches.

The delegation of Bac Giang province respectfully offered incense to express their deepest condolences on the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong. The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate comrade Tran Duc Luong; and offered encouragement and condolences to his family.
Comrade Tran Duc Luong passed away at 10:51 p.m. on May 20. During more than 50 years of revolutionary activities, he made great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. He was awarded the Gold Star Order, the 65-year Party membership badge, and many other noble orders, medals, awards, and titles by the Party and the State.
The memorial service for comrade Tran Duc Luong will be solemnly held at 7am tomorrow (May 25) at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. The burial ceremony will be held at 3pm the same day at his hometown cemetery, Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province.
