Duc Trong determined to complete economic growth target

Despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the first half of 2025 is gradually coming to an end with positive signals for the economy of Duc Trong district, showing the high determination of the local government in implementing the set growth targets.

In line with Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government and the directions of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on achieving economic growth of 9-10% in 2025, Duc Trong District People's Committee has proactively developed and implemented specific programs and plans, assigning clear tasks to each department, office, unit and communes and towns. The direction and management work has been determined with the right focus and key points, with regular inspection and supervision and timely removal of difficulties.

According to the People's Committee of Duc Trong district, in the first 6 months of 2025, the production value at 2010 comparative prices showed steady growth in the following sectors: Agriculture , forestry and fishery; industry; construction; trade - services... In particular, the state budget collection in the district achieved very positive results. The total state budget revenue estimated to be realized in the first 6 months of the year reached over 718.4 billion VND, reaching 51% of the assigned estimate and equal to 127% over the same period.

To achieve the above results, Duc Trong District People's Committee has shown determination in directing and operating in many areas. In particular, focusing on restructuring the industry, developing high-tech agriculture, sustainable organic agriculture, improving the competitiveness of local agricultural products. At the same time, forest management and protection have been tightened, preventing forest fires from causing damage.

Specifically, the district has regularly grasped and resolved difficulties for businesses, strengthened market inspection and control, and food safety. Trade - tourism - culinary promotion fairs have also been organized to promote local products. Disbursement of public investment capital is prioritized, especially for key projects such as Bao Loc - Lien Khuong highway and Ta Hoet lake. The total investment capital plan for 2025 is allocated at VND 215.5 billion, with the disbursement rate estimated at 60% by June 2025. The district has also strengthened land management according to planning, strictly handled violations, and accelerated compensation and site clearance. At the same time, it focuses on administrative reform, reviewing and abolishing regulations that cause difficulties for people and businesses, promoting the application of information technology in handling administrative procedures, towards digital government.

In addition to the achieved results, Duc Trong district also frankly pointed out some shortcomings such as the disbursement rate of public investment capital in some projects is still low, compensation and site clearance work has encountered many obstacles; the settlement of some administrative records in the land sector is still behind schedule and complaints and denunciations still arise. The main reasons are determined to be due to the lack of close inter-sectoral coordination, the limited advisory capacity of some officials and the low awareness of law compliance of a part of the people.

CONTINUE TO IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS SYNCHRONIZEDLY

To achieve the set goals, Duc Trong will continue to focus on restructuring the apparatus and merging commune-level administrative units to ensure continuous and smooth operations. On the other hand, it will resolutely and synchronously implement solutions to accelerate the progress of implementation and disbursement of public investment capital, ensuring that the disbursement rate of public investment capital by June 30 reaches 60%.

At the same time, strictly implement the tasks and solutions for budget collection, ensure the completion of tax and fee collection rates; monitor and urge to accelerate the progress of the implementation of the State budget collection plan and land use fees in 2025 on a daily and weekly basis. Continue to strengthen forest management, protection, fire prevention and fighting. Speed ​​up the progress of afforestation and tree planting associated with strict management of new forest areas, not allowing people to encroach.

Strengthen inspection and handling of illegal mining, mineral processing, leveling and land reclamation in the district; strictly manage public land, avoid encroachment and re-encroachment, auction and lease land according to plan. Speed ​​up compensation, support and resettlement of key projects in the district.

Focus on directing and removing difficulties in the process of investing in the construction of key projects and implementing the Land Exploitation Project in Lien Nghia town to create capital for infrastructure investment and construction of Duc Trong district square and infrastructure in the planning area of ​​Duc Trong district square Administrative Center, planning residential areas and Phi Nom market to create resources for infrastructure investment.
