The update causing the issue is KB5029351, which was released for Windows 11 earlier this month. The affected MSI motherboards are from the Intel 600 and 700 series, so the manufacturer has advised users to avoid the update if they haven't already installed it.

However, there is no exact timetable for when the two companies will release a final fix. In the meantime, users should hold off on updating to Windows 11 if they have an MSI motherboard.
