Tam Binh Pharmaceuticals: Supporting "Green Summer 2025" in the highlands of Lang Son

Tam Binh Pharmaceutical is the gold sponsor of the program "Green Summer 2025".

Tri Le and Luong Nang are two mountainous communes with many difficulties, where the Tay and Nung ethnic groups mainly live. The long distances and limited economic conditions make it difficult for people to access medical services and medicines. Faced with this reality, "Green Summer 2025" has implemented free medical examination and medicine distribution activities, contributing to the health care of the people here.

The program took place over two days, May 17-18, 2025, with the participation of pharmacists from Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Tam Binh Pharmaceutical staff and volunteer doctors from Hanoi Medical University Hospital and Lang Son General Hospital. More than 400 people were examined, consulted and given free medicine. Many cases were promptly detected, instructed to monitor and take appropriate health care.

Ms. Hoang Thi Xanh, 68 years old, is a typical example. For many years, she has lived with back pain, arthritis, and difficulty walking. When she heard that a group of doctors and nurses were coming to the commune to provide free medical examinations, she asked her daughter to take her to the medical examination point early. Receiving the medicine bag in her hand, Ms. Xanh emotionally shared: “The doctors examined me very carefully, asked me questions, gave me careful instructions, and also gave me medicine without spending any money. I am very grateful to the uncles and aunts for bringing this program to our people.”

Mr. Hoang Van Xuyen, Secretary of the Tri Le Commune Youth Union, shared: “Due to the remote terrain, people have few opportunities to visit the clinic, many people only come to the medical station when they are seriously ill. This free medical examination and treatment and medicine distribution activity is truly a precious gift for the people, especially the elderly and children. We would like to thank Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Tam Binh Pharmaceutical Company for bringing such a humane and practical program. We hope that in the future, the commune will continue to receive many more meaningful activities like this.”

In addition to medical examination and treatment activities, the Hanoi University of Pharmacy Youth Volunteer Team and Tam Binh Pharmaceutical staff also coordinated to implement many other meaningful activities such as: building a bookshelf for Tri Le Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, awarding scholarships to 20 poor students who have overcome difficulties, visiting and giving gifts to 4 extremely disadvantaged households. The gifts including cash and necessities have partly shared the burden with the households.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Truong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy emphasized: “Green Summer is one of the key volunteer activities, demonstrating the spirit of volunteering for the community of the Pharmaceutical Youth Volunteer Team. This year, the program continues to receive valuable support from Tam Binh Pharmaceutical Company. Thanks to this funding, we can expand the scale and organize more practical activities for the people. Hopefully, in the upcoming programs, the Hanoi University of Pharmacy Youth Volunteer Team will continue to receive support from Tam Binh”.
